Ballet: Should fit snugly like a second skin. Size down 1-1.5 from street shoes.
Jazz: Close fit but allow toe movement. Usually same as street or half size down.
Tap: True to street size. Allow room for socks.
Ballroom/Latin: Snug fit. Most brands run small; try half size up from street.
Pointe: Must be professionally fitted. Never buy without expert guidance.
