A drum pattern is a repeating rhythmic figure played on a percussion kit. Most popular music uses patterns built on a 16-step grid, where each step is a sixteenth note. The kick drum provides the low-end pulse, the snare supplies the backbeat, and hi-hats (closed and open) add rhythmic texture.
This tool synthesizes all sounds in real time using the Web Audio API — no samples are loaded. The kick uses a sine oscillator with a rapid pitch envelope, the snare combines filtered noise with a short tone burst, and hi-hats use band-pass filtered noise with different decay times for closed and open variants.
