|---|---|
| Comfort | Temperature at which an average cold sleeper can sleep comfortably in a relaxed position |
| Lower Limit | Temperature at which an average warm sleeper can sleep for 8 hours in a curled position |
| Extreme | Survival-only rating; risk of hypothermia. Never plan to use a bag at this rating. |
Tip: Always choose a bag rated at or below the Comfort rating for your expected low temperature, not the Lower Limit.
