Real odds for EuroMillions
These odds are calculated from this game's own number format (50 main numbers, choose 5, plus 2 of 12 for the Lucky Star) using exact combinatorics — not estimates. Find the row you care about: the jackpot line is what everyone looks at first, but the lower rows are where almost all actual results land. Note that matching numbers is not the same as winning a prize — which combinations pay, and how much, is set by the lottery operator, so check the official prize table below.
| Numbers matched | Ways it can happen | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Jackpot | 1 | 1 : 139,838,160 |
| 5 main + 1 Lucky Star | 20 | 1 : 6,991,908 |
| 5 main | 45 | 1 : 3,107,515 |
| 4 main + 2 Lucky Star | 225 | 1 : 621,503 |
| 4 main + 1 Lucky Star | 4,500 | 1 : 31,075 |
| 3 main + 2 Lucky Star | 9,900 | 1 : 14,125 |
| 4 main | 10,125 | 1 : 13,811 |
| 2 main + 2 Lucky Star | 141,900 | 1 : 985.47 |
| 3 main + 1 Lucky Star | 198,000 | 1 : 706.25 |
| 3 main | 445,500 | 1 : 313.89 |
| 1 main + 2 Lucky Star | 744,975 | 1 : 187.71 |
| 2 Lucky Star only | 1,221,759 | 1 : 114.46 |
Why past results do not help
Every draw uses the full set of balls again, so each draw is independent of every draw before it. A number that came up ten times last year has exactly the same chance tonight as one that never came up. The draw-count charts on this page are historical records, not signals. No generator, including this one, can improve your odds. This tool picks numbers at random and nothing more.
Before you play
Play only where lotteries are legal for you, and only if you are old enough in your jurisdiction. Treat any amount you spend as money you have already lost. If gambling stops feeling like a game, stop and seek help. This page does not sell tickets and is not affiliated with any lottery operator.

Frequently asked questions
How are the EuroMillions odds worked out?
From the format alone. Five numbers from fifty gives 2,118,760 combinations, and two Lucky Stars from twelve gives another 66, so the jackpot sits at one in 139,838,160. Every one of the seven prize tiers on this page is derived the same way.
Is a EuroMillions prize taxed?
It depends entirely on where you bought the ticket. The calculator on this page applies a different rule per country because the participating countries do not agree: some take nothing at all, while others tax only the part of a prize above a set threshold.
Do the smaller tiers matter?
They are the only ones most players ever reach. The jackpot line is what everyone looks at, but the lower rows in the odds table are shorter by orders of magnitude, and the table on this page is there so you can compare them side by side rather than only reading the top row.
Does a number that has not appeared for months become more likely?
No. Every draw uses the full set of balls again, so each draw is independent of every draw before it. A long absence changes nothing about the next draw.
About these odds. The tier odds below follow from the game matrix (5 of 50 plus 2 of 12). We have not yet read them off an operator's own page, so treat them as our calculation rather than a quoted figure. Prize amounts are pari-mutuel — they are shared among winners and change every draw.
This generator picks random numbers and does not improve your odds. Draws are independent of one another, so no selection method changes what you win. It is for entertainment only — play is your own decision, and only with money you can afford to lose.
