Filters are a matter of taste. Every line has the same top-prize chance: 1 in 25,827,165. Narrowing the filters only reduces how many lines you can pick from.

Prize tiers and odds
| Match | Prize | Odds per line |
|---|
Prizes: the Texas Lottery's draw-details pages, per draw (read 13 Oct 2026). 5 of 6 and 4 of 6 are shares of a pool and change every draw; 3 of 6 pays $3. The Extra! add-on ($1 more per play) adds $10,000, $100 and $10 to the 5, 4 and 3 of 6 prizes and pays $2 for 2 of 6. Odds: worked out from the format (6 numbers from 54); we have not read them off an operator odds table.
Tax
The IRS says gambling winnings, including lotteries, are fully taxable and must be reported on your federal return (IRS Topic no. 419, Gambling income and losses, read 13 Oct 2026). This page does not state a Texas state tax figure: the Texas Lottery's game and claim pages do not give one and we have not verified it against another official source. Check the Texas Lottery and a tax professional before relying on any estimate.
A free Lotto Texas number generator and results checker. Lotto Texas is drawn Monday, Wednesday and Saturday: six numbers from 1 to 54, and a play costs $1. The jackpot rolls over until someone matches all six; the 5, 4 and 3 of 6 prizes are the lower tiers, and for $1 more the Extra! add-on raises them and also pays for 2 of 6. This page stores the Texas Lottery's own breakdown of every draw so far in 2026 — how many players won each tier, with and without Extra!, and what each tier paid — so a checked line shows what it would have paid in that draw. It also stores every set of winning numbers since 2022 (749 draws) for checking and statistics. The Texas Lottery publishes no draw numbers, so draws are listed by date.
How the Extra! add-on works
Extra! costs $1 more per play and adds a fixed amount to the lower prizes: $10,000 to 5 of 6, $100 to 4 of 6 and $10 to 3 of 6, and it pays $2 for 2 of 6, which wins nothing without it. In all 122 stored 2026 draws the add-on was exactly those amounts, and the result tab shows how many players won with it in each tier.
Why the 5 and 4 of 6 prizes move
Those two prizes are shares of a pool, so the amount per winner depends on how many people match. Across the 122 stored 2026 draws, a 5 of 6 line paid between $294 and $11,205 and a 4 of 6 line between $28 and $66; 3 of 6 paid $3 every time. Look at the winners column to see why: a draw with a handful of 5 of 6 winners pays far more per line than one with dozens.
How the jackpot was won in 2026
The jackpot was won three times in the stored 2026 draws — on 20 April (an estimated $41 million), 10 August ($26.75 million) and 5 September ($7.5 million) — each time by one ticket and each time taken as the cash value option, according to the Texas Lottery's draw details. After a win the next jackpot started again at $5 million.

Why past results do not help
Every draw uses the full sets of balls again, so each draw is independent of every draw before it. A number that came up ten times last month has exactly the same chance next draw as one that never came up. No generator, including this one, can improve your odds. This tool picks numbers at random and nothing more.
Before you play
Play only where lotteries are legal for you, and only if you are old enough in your jurisdiction (Players must meet the Texas Lottery's age rule — check texaslottery.com). Treat any amount you spend as money you have already lost. If gambling stops feeling like a game, stop and seek help. This page does not sell tickets and is not affiliated with any lottery operator.

Frequently asked questions
What are the odds of winning the Lotto Texas jackpot?
One in 25,827,165 — the number of ways to choose six numbers from 54. The figure is worked out from the game format; the Texas Lottery's pages do not publish an odds table. The chance of winning any base prize (3 of 6 or better) is about 1 in 71.
How much is the Extra! add-on?
$1 more per play, according to the Texas Lottery's game page. In the draw details it raises the 5 of 6 prize by $10,000, the 4 of 6 prize by $100 and the 3 of 6 prize by $10, and 2 of 6 pays $2.
When is Lotto Texas drawn?
Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening, at 10:12 p.m. Central time according to the Texas Lottery's game page.
Do I pay tax on Lotto Texas winnings?
The IRS treats lottery winnings as fully taxable income at the federal level. This page does not state a Texas state tax figure because it has not verified one against an official source.
Does picking numbers that came up recently help?
No. Every draw uses all 54 balls again, so each draw is independent. The statistics tab records the past and says nothing about the next draw.
Where the numbers come from. The odds are worked out from the game format with exact combinatorics (6 numbers from 54: 25,827,165 combinations); we have not read them off an operator odds table, because the Texas Lottery's game and results pages do not publish one. Prize amounts and winner counts come from the Texas Lottery's draw-details pages (read 13 Oct 2026). The 2 of 6 match pays only with the Extra! add-on, so it is not one of the four tiers below.
